Culture of Ashura Triumphs over Neo-Yazidis

Condolences dear young friends, and may God grant you the patience, courage, and determination to firmly tread the path of the Immortal Martyr of Karbala.
Imam Husain (AS) stands as the eternal barometer, of not just faith, but of all humanitarian values.
In other words, it is on the basis of our love and respect for his egalitarian ideals that we are proud to say we are human beings with proper cognizance of the Almighty Creator.
Otherwise, despite our powers of the intellect and speech, we will be considered worse than beasts.
This is the message of the epic of Ashura that we commemorated last Sunday in Iran and throughout the world (in the subcontinent on Monday because of the sighting of the Muharram crescent a day later there).
We are Muslims, and we are honoured to call ourselves the followers of the Ahl al-Bayt of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) because of our adherence to the indomitable qualities enshrined by Imam Husain (AS) on the sands of Karbala in 61 AH.
These qualities inspire our ladies to observe Hijab; our youth to spurn the depraved culture of the West; our men and women to instill the ingredients of faith in children; our masses to build morally sound society that is neither dependent on the east nor on the west; our experts to explore new vistas of science and technology; and our scholars and ulema to establish the sacred system of the Islamic Republic based on the dynamic concept of Velayat-e Faqih – that has its source in the God-given Velayat of the Prophet and the Infallible Imams.
No wonder, Yazidi forces today hate us since they find themselves disgraced and defeated forever in every age and clime, and in every form and shape.
This was the prime reason for last Sunday's futile attempt by a group of neo-Yazidis, dancing to the satanic tunes of the West, to desecrate the sanctity of the holy day of Ashura in Tehran.
While most of the people of Tehran were at Mosques and Husainiyahs commemorating the martyrs of Karbala, these hellhounds, applauded by their devilish masters in the US and West Europe, looted banks and shops, attacked the few unarmed policemen on duty, burned private cars, roadside trash bins, and bus stops and damaged buildings.
These morally loose vandals (of both sexes) clapped, whistled and danced in the streets of Tehran – at a time when the nation was busy mourning Imam Husain (AS) – and chanted the most blasphemous slogans against Islamic sanctities in the manner of Shemr and other dastardly enemies of humanity.
May God curse them and inflict them with Divine Wrath as the famous Persian proverb says: Har ke ba Aal-e Ali dar oftaad, war oftad (Whoever dares to offend the house of Ali will soon be swept into oblivion).
Goodbye and take care. We will be meeting you today afternoon in Tehran in the nationwide rallies the tens of millions of Iranian Muslims will stage against this desecration of the sanctity of Ashura by the neo-Yazidis.
